Corvette Lightweight Grand Sport

This is the one. This is the most valuable Corvette ever. It's also the most significant Corvette of the ear.

I'm calling it the lightweight because that's what everyone who ever actually drove one called it. You should feel free to call it the Grand Sport. I have no preference. This blog is going to be image heavy. I'm not going to get into any of the historical facts here. Those facts have been written about many many times.

If you want to read about the restoration of 004 you can find information here.

The mirror on 003 is very different. I know the one on 004 is original. I'm not as sure about the 003 car.
